It's easy and it's lazy to sit outside of a complicated situation and attack the people involved.

Real Estate seems to have been a bullseye for most of my 25 year+ career, yet here I still am. And, here you still are too, my brothers and sister in arms.
Theodore Roosevelt once astutely remarked:


Warrior Heart

“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

The media may indulge in their clickbait tactics and criticize our industry relentlessly, but they will always remain in the cheap seats, forever distant from the exhilarating highs of victory and the lessons found in defeat.

We are not commodoties, we do not all provide the same service, expertise nor years of experience. The public will foolishly try to commodotize you, but that is their loss, not your identity. We have survived markets that include: The Crash, Wars, Ections and even a Global Pandemic. We have warrior hearts aligned with servant leadership skills and emotional intelligence that does impact and improve the lives of our clients.

Evil Knievel once wisely remarked, “I’d rather be a broken-down has-been that took risks, than an unknown never-was that played it safe.” By understanding our intrinsic value and mastering the art of expressing it, we will endure and thrive, while others fall victim to the pitfalls of short-sighted decisions and premature career failures.

We profoundly impact and elevate the lives of others when we operate at our highest potential as REALTORS ®. Never let anyone diminish that truth. You and I possess intrinsic value and a purpose that transcends fleeting criticisms. Stay the course.
