One of the most misguided narratives floating around from today’s “influencers” is this gem: “Don’t buy a home.”

I hear it and can’t help but smile - the same way you smile when someone confidently explains that the earth is flat and gravity is “just a suggestion.”
Every truly wealthy person I’ve ever known, studied or shared a dinner table with built their fortune on real estate. Not crypto fads. Not magic beans. Real Estate.

And here’s the kicker the influencers forget to mention: Homeowners are, on average, 46 times wealthier than renters. Forty-six. That’s not a rounding error - that’s a canyon.

And yes, renters are paying a mortgage… just not their own. They’re faithfully contributing to their landlord’s retirement plan while being told “ownership is overrated.” You can’t make this stuff up.

Buy smart, buy prepared, buy with a trusted REALTOR® - but for goodness’ sake, don’t let TikTok talk you out of generational wealth.
