There's So Much Happening Here...

Welcome, my friends, to San Diego Neighborhood Experts, your one-stop shop for all things local! Here, we bring you exclusive interviews with our beloved neighborhood businesses, the latest happenings in San Diego, fresh events to look out for, and of course, juicy tidbits about the ever-exciting real estate market. Stay classy, San Diego!
My mission is to inspire growth and cultivate financial freedom by delivering exceptional real estate services. As a perpetual learner and explorer, I serve others with energy and focus, using pragmatic communication and a global perspective to create deep connections and make a meaningful impact. A treasure hunter at heart, I embrace every opportunity to motivate and empower those I serve and achieve success in all our ventures.

A REALTOR® friend of mine recently asked me, if I was finding that homeowners in my San Diego market that want to move but are unwilling to give up their low mortgage rates? How was I helping them overcome this challenge?
My response and advice to him was simple:
"A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still."

You cannot motivate someone with logic when they are emotionally convinced of the opposite. That emotion may come from comfort or fear, and it may be logical or illogical, but either way, they usually will not budge just because someone presents a rational argument.
Many homeowners have been "percentage-prisoners" of their low mortgage rates since 2020, so this is nothing new. And frankly, there's not much I can do to free them.
LIFE eventually takes care of that.

A new job, relocation, health, marriage, divorce, a birth, a death, grandchildren, retirement, need for single story, or any number of life's changing circumstances eventually outweigh the appeal of a low interest rate.
Our job as REALTORs® isn't to convince people to give up a great mortgage.
It's to help them make smart real estate decisions when life gives them a reason to move. Life creates the motivation. We help them navigate the move.
"There's what we believe, and there's what is true.
Emotions often blur the distinction,
while mathematics helps us see the difference.
Wisdom is knowing when to trust our feelings
and when to challenge them with facts."
